The Team

Siobhan O’Loughlin

Show Runner, Performer, Producer

Siobhan O’Loughlin (she/her) is an immersive maker who works and creates in Los Angeles and New York City. Her site specific, immersive piece, Broken Bone Bathtub, toured globally for five consecutive years with over 600 performances in 40 different cities, was featured in PBS’s Emmy Award Winning Documentary Series Immersive.World, clocked top ten lists for theatre experiences from the Baltimore Sun, The San Francisco Examiner, and The Houston Chronicle. Broken Bone Bathtub is the recipient of the 2019 Immersion Award for Most Transformative Experience. In that same year, she crowdfunded $40k by herself to produce the documentary chronicling the journey of this small but mighty project.

She is the show runner of Please Don't Touch the Artist (PDT). Every single PDT experience has been written and performed by Siobhán, with the exception of a few collaborative pieces (such as Joe Joenliness, which was co-written and co-performed by her genius brother, Shane O’Loughlin). PDT is the recipient of No Proscenium’s Audience Choice Award for Outstanding Individual Performance in 2020.

Siobhán is the founder and Captain of The Misfits for Democracy, a group of progressive artists and activists running harm reduction phone banking missions to support Democratic candidates in crucial, life-or-death-threatening races, including Joe Biden for President, Jon Ossoff for Senate, and Gavin Newsom’s recall defense.

Brendan Leahy

Sound Designer

Brendan is a theatrical technical director who creates scenery for live events, retail, and immersive marketing. He currently serves as the Lead Assistant Project Manager for ATOMIC Design, a live events production, construction, rental, and design firm based in Lititz, PA. Through ATOMIC, Brendan has been managing teams that translate creative collaborations into technical designs and project plans. The core of Brendan's practice lives in the development of creative evolution amongst collaborators. He specializes in converting traditional "analog" workflow practices to digital ones using technology and data; his process of digitizing workflow pairs with his respect for emotional intelligence. Under Brendan's supervision, his teams focus on creative thinking, while computers handle workflow and data management. Brendan's technical designs have been on tour with Taylor Swift, Lady Gaga, on-screen with MTV, WWE, in flagship stores in New York with Nike, or Ray-Ban, and now, in 2020, on the small-scale immersive Zoom screen.
